23 Sept – my birthday dinner at home since our youngest is sick – ribeyes and scallops on wilted pea shoots, tomato and bread salad. "Lucia" chocolate decadence from 46 Patisserie.
22 Sept – my husband cooked – tacos, burritos 
with provisions from the Mexican grocery store–chorizo, avocados

21 Sept – "Minne" strone soup and crusty bread with Chevre. My husband named the soup – I just cooked up tons of veggies in the fridge–zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant, peppers, onions, garlic, and added fresh basil from the garden, wild rice, beans and a little left over Italian sausage. I usually have chicken stock in the freezer, but no luck this time. I just used water and it worked out fine.
20 Sept – one ribeye left that we shared, salad, garlic bread

11 Sept – a dinner to send Julien off to France – ribs, Brenda's fabulous Kale with bacon, garlic and onions, mashed potatoes, squash

10 Sept – gazpacho and hot dogs
9 Sept – I ate the salad I had made for lunch that I forgot to take to work (not pictured). Sick youngest son had homemade chicken noodle soup. While watching football, I also made gazpacho, edamame & corn soup, wild rice & cannelini bean soup (bought a lot of veggies at the Farmer's market and got the weekly veggie box!)
8 Sept – a gorgeous late summer day. I had prepped the veggies before I went to work. When I got home, I put in the pot roast in the oven, biked around the lake, came home to dinner– pot roast
7 Sept – dinner with grandma, grandpa, my husband, middle son at Broder's (not pictured). Fabulous caprese salad, penne putanesca

6 Sept – browned, brown rice, Asian greens salad with honey mustard viniagrette, edamame, leftover grilled chicken legs, garlic bread, corn
5 Sept – grilled chicken legs, dragon tongue beans in tomatoes, garlic, basil, corn, grilled squash, salad
4 Sept – Labor Day weekend gathering at my sister's – as my 3-1/2-year-old nephew calls it "rockamole" and chips (not pictured) , jambalaya, salad greens with shaved parmesan, corn bread and for dessert, raspberry "chart".
3 Sept – late summer in Minnesota part two, the weather cooled off significantly,so today was meatloaf and mashed potatoes, sweet corn
2 Sept – late summer in Minnesota – BLTs, sweet corn, homemade refrigerator pickles
