29 Aug – homemade gazpacho, chilles rellenos, grilled steak, browned rice, salad greens, baguette. I have decided gazpacho is fool proof. Admittedly, mine was not as good as my son's, but it was good. Start by pureeing some of the tomatoes to give yourself some broth. Then added finely (very finely) diced summer veggies – cucumber, zucchini, squash, carrots, onions, garlic, string beans, jalapenos, peppers both sweet and hot.Some salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar. Cilantro or fresh parsley , if you have it. Top with creme fraiche.
